North Coast Stories

My name is Crissi Langwell, and I’ve been an indie author since 2013 when I published my first novel (and a writer since many years before that). I am a member and former newsletter editor of the Redwood Writers (a branch of the California Writers Club), and the Online Content Producer of Northern California newspaper, the Press Democrat.

When I first started out as a self-published author, the first thing I noticed was how dang expensive everything was! I mean, here I was, a penniless writer with a huge dream, and no idea how to do anything. And if I needed help with my book, I had to reach far into my bank account or max out my credit card to make it happen. Thousands of dollars later and no income to offset the costs, I knew something needed to be done.

After years of publishing my own books, I have learned the ins and outs of many aspects of self-publishing and have managed to save myself a lot of money. However, the issue still remains for many authors just starting out.

This is where we can help each other out. You’re looking for a bargain on anything from formatting your book to setting up your website and social media pages. I’m looking to build up my portfolio of clients. And I know what it’s like to be an indie author, because I’ve been one for the past several years.

Here are the services I offer:

– Print Book Interior Formatting
– eBook Interior Formatting- Manuscript Proofing
– Manuscript Editing
– Cover Back Copy
– Book Blurb
– Website Creation
– Social Media Page Creation (Facebook, Twitter, Goodreads)

Plus, I share every book I work on across my social media platforms.
